I am not the type of person to write a review but unfortunately this one was warranted. Great experience buying the tile and the in store help JUST the day I bought the product. Delivery that was PAID for? A nightmare. I signed off on a delivery for “threshold” which meant they would leave the product in the garage and call at least 30 minutes before delivery. The driver called when he was already at the property (it is vacant because we are redoing the whole floor with the new tile). We asked the driver to wait 15 minutes for us to arrive, driver declined and gave us no choice but to leave the product on our driveway (4 full pallets - pictures attached). Called the store and was on hold over 30 minutes so I had to drive in (Saturday, September 10th @12:30PM). Was met by a manager after waiting another 20 minutes. They told me they could not help in the situation because it was a “third party delivery service” - so who did I pay? I paid floor and decor? So who is responsible? Apparently, not floor & decor. They refused to help, and just gave me the option to cancel the order since they could not meet the agreed terms of delivery. Their reasoning? “Driver discretion”. In other words: if the driver finds it convenient to take it into the garage; if not, sucks. The only help from the manager: either figure it out OR cancel the order AND pay ANOTHER delivery fee to take the product back. Disgraceful to pay for a service of over $200 and an order of over $4,000 for them to treat a customer this way. I had to go buy tarps to cover the product because they also threatened that if the product was damaged by the time they picked it up (after cancelling), I was liable for it (pictures attached). Even though they left FOUR pallets laying on my driveway. Let me tell you, we TRIED to figure it out, even rented a pallet jack. It was too much weight and we couldn’t even move it 1 inch. It was a job for a fork lift - the delivery service we paid for. I have always bought my products at floor & decor Hialeah and this is the first time I gave Kendall a chance since the new opening. Never again, and never will I be dealing with floor and decor again. Extremely frustrated and disappointed. Zero customer service, zero professionalism from the management team, and zero help for resolution. It was a “you’re on your own and if you don’t want it we’ll pick it up on Monday”. Moral of the story: save yourself the headache, pay someone who is actually going to abide to their delivery terms, it’s a third party anyway.
