Nice sites, some near the lake.

Spacious campground with good privacy, sandy beach right next to many of the waterside sites. Super hospitable host keeps the place tidy and safe. Folks camping with long rigs, be aware that the Forest Service decided to put railroad ties on most of the pads before the 2022 camping season. The site we’ve been staying at for a few years is now too tight for our camper - hopefully they will extend the parking pads to make things more accommodating.

No firewood available at the campground this year so hit Teals on the way. No swimmers itch yet and the perch are biting.

Overall we enjoyed how secluded this lake was. There were plenty of trees making the campsites quite private. There were plenty of trees so we could set up our hammocks. We had to walk through other campsites to get to the lake but they had little trails between the other campgrounds so it was ok. My biggest disappointment was that the lake that is right next to it was not very 'swimable' it had huuuge leeches. However, at night we did see tons of tiny cute little frogs. The campsites were clean and well taken care of, with lots of area to set up the tents. The bathrooms were clean and had plenty of toilet paper. If you are looking for a spot to just relax, cook and have some privacy - this is the place to go! There are a few good swimming lakes nearby that you can drive to. They also sell firewood, cheap and a lot of wood. We will be back!

Great campground, no hook-ups, pit toilets, sandy shore. You can pull your boat up to your own lakeside campsite if you are lucky to get one. Sometimes flys and mosquitos are there just like everywhere.
