I love the content in the store, and in general, the small gifts, cute finds, kids' section and magazine racks are great. The recent organization is a little confusing than what it used to be, however it's not impossible. I do think some of the check out clerks need some additional training, as I did bring a gift card to use for a $48 book purchase. The lady proceeded to tell me there was no money on the gift card after she instructed me to insert the gift card into the chip reader, at which point I said "Wouldn't it be best to swipe?" The lady confirmed she knew what she was doing, however when I followed my own accord after several denials, it worked. Needless to say, my husband was pretty ticked off by the ignorance.

Good staff and been working to redo some of the layout of the building. Selection is pretty solid and offers many different topics. Coffee shop staff rocks.

This was my first time being in a Barnes store in about 3 years and things have changed but not in a good way IMO. The focus is definitely not on books any longer and that to me is the biggest loss. I understand their business need but for people looking to browse books the allure is no longer there.

The one in Woodmere has always been a Barnes and Noble.
