I visited South Pointe Hospital several months ago. It just so happened to be the night that they were extremely busy at Hillcrest Hospital and I went there for my emergency care. They were able to see me right away, treat me and release me within a few hours.

I usually don’t have problems with this ER, but I must say tonight I saw the most unprofessional individuals that doesn’t deserve to work with people. My son 7 years old broke a couple of bones in his foot the nurse made him fall while doing crutch education. He never received pain meds for it. The doctor Kathryn Haller was very rude. She only gave my son 2 days off of school even with seeing how difficult it was for him to maneuver in here. Her body language & facial expressions were out of this world & her nurse was rude as well. She didn’t even open the door for us to exit. I had to get it to stay open the best way I could while pushing my son out in a wheelchair. The staff was very insensitive & seemed a bit racist. I work for a big hospital and we would never treat one of our patients like that. When we first arrived we were tossed to a room, where it took a whole 30 minutes for the rude nurse to come in & say she’ll be with us shortly. My son asked for a remote & she said someone stole it. I’m in complete wow right now. Totally unacceptable
