Female night desk person was extremely friendly. Lower cost (but the same as two other completely full hotels), late hours (we got in at midnight), and room availability (even this hotel only had about 10 rooms left, and we needed 2 of them) is why we chose this, but the hotel is unfortunately a mess. This was the only one out of five motels in the area we searched looking for a room that absolutely did not have Continental breakfast of any kind. There was coffee and a coffee maker in our rooms. The pool had issues and was not open--based on what they said happened it seemed as if maintenance didn't open it properly and ruined something. The bedsheets were clean, but there were stains and burn holes on the bedspreads and some of the furniture. On the up side: there were NO signs of bed bugs in our room. The floor was okay clean (my feet did not get dirty walking on it) but not immaculate (there were white flecks the vacuum clearly did not pick up). The bathroom didn't necessarily look dirty, but there was hair stuck around the drain. I believe the room had been cleaned, but it was done in a hurry. The doors were pretty banged up looking. There was one lamp in our room that was not plugged in--and there was no outlet in which to plug it. In fact, there was only one usable outlet in the entire bed area. The other room we got had some non-working light switches. The front desk said that like many hotels they are struggling post-COVID, where they have demand but have two bad years to make up for before they can afford improvements. As a hotel, they could improve by cleaning immaculately to make up for their run down appearance--and since it seems they have a competent cleaning crew, this could be easily done by creating a rotating schedule of deep cleans for the rooms. They could wait to deal with the pool (just put a notice on the website that it is currently unavailable for maintenance reasons), but a continental breakfast, even if it minimally contains only tea, iced and hot water, coffee, oatmeal and hot chocolate packets, poptarts and/or pastries, and granola bars, is important and expected of hotels at this point. They could raise their rates by $10 to more cover this cost for breakfast if their rooms were immaculate.

Room was not acceptable . I wouldn’t let my dog stay there, that’s how bad it was. Stains all over sheets. food, toys, clothing, and trash under the mattress. Shower had drain issues so I had to shower in about 2 inches of dirty water. I have photos of the room that I wish I could post . And not to mention, the people at the front desk were not professional at all about accommodating me for the terrible experience. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE. I wish I could give them less than 1star.

If I could put no stars I would. This was by far the worst red roof hotel I ever stayed as soon as I walked in it was really hot like extremely hot was the first red flag, along with the fact the lobby looked so dirty. The Gentleman at the front desk was very kind however. I stayed in room 119 it had fleas all over the bed and floor just crawling around I asked the gentleman to change my room I double checked my room before entering my personal items and my 2 month puppy the room was a tad better but the sheets were dirty and stained and had hair. I went to take a shower the tub clogged, like are you kidding me Red roof management do better seriously never again !!!

we got the room so we could sleep during a cross country trip. but after an hour in the room, we still haven’t been able to sleep yet. it’s nonsmoking but the rooms smell like smoke and are triggering allergies. we are coughing too much and our lungs hurt. the room is also disgusting. there are pieces of food and wrappers all over including in the air unit. so more nasty stuff to breathe. i’m not upset about it being run down and needing repairs and updates but there’s no excuse for the room being dirty like this. the room was no refundable and i can’t afford another hotel tonight or else we would have left. but i worry i’ll regret that decision if we can’t sleep and are sick for days after leaving.
