Cherished memories with lovely people! I'm a novice rider, but Lori, our guide, took great care of us. She's clearly an experienced and competent guide. I felt very safe despite my lack of experience, and the horses were happy, healthy, and friendly! This is not at all a pretentious place-- I felt like I was spending time with friends or extended family. Just simple cold cuts for lunch after a morning ride! It was delightful. They're so welcoming and I had so much fun-- I'm already thinking of when I can come back and do a longer ride.

Lovely people, gentle horses, a breathtaking farm. I have visited twice in the past 12 months and already want to go back. Julie, Gary, and the wranglers are just the most gracious and kind you'd people ever hope to meet. They are a wealth of knowledge about all things horses and they excel at making horseback riding accessible to anyone who is keen to learn. They cherish their horses, and the horses in turn are gentle and very patient even with new riders. The trail network includes streams, woodlands, and meadows. I live 4 hours away from Shangri La Guest Ranch, but the drive is worth it and then some. I've done the packtrip and day ride and would love to do a farmstay!

My 11 year old daughter and I went for a Mommy/Daughter weekend. We do not have much experience with horses. The wranglers were super helpful and the horses were so well trained! Everyone was so friendly! Highly recommend checking this place out!

Cowgirl retreat was a five star vacation. The entire crew were nothing less than spectacular, so kind and helpful. Those young wrangles were spot on in pairing each of us with the perfect horse. I am already thinking my next trip back to the ranch!
