We choose this hotel because it was part of the comfort Inn group. The staff was great/with the exception of one Caucasian female cleaner….rude. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean. The only downfall was the breakfast was limited to on 1 hot item waffles . They ran out of creamers and juice for 2 days. The also ran out of wash clothes. I bought some from dollar general. We came down for DIF. My niece change her room to the second floor to be near her fathers room. The clerk never made the changes to room 232. A cleaner tried to remove them from the room. She was told they had to leave because they weren’t booked for the room. It was eventually straightened out. Please to the owner make sure your hotel is adequately stock! I would not recommend this hotel….

Horrible Fraud hotel!!! I have stayed in this hotel over the years for at least the last 17 years however my stay on May 7 turned out to be the worst. After checking out and leaving the room in perfect condition hardly with nothing to clean . This hotel charged my credit card for a broken toilet and said I put bars of soap in the toilet . I travel on a bi weekly basis for business and never in life have I ever had a damage charge. I tried to dispute with manager , customer who had no proof I done it. No we again will any Clarion get my business . For those who stay in the One in South Boston VA check your credit card to make sure they are not trying to charge you so they can make a profit off you !!!

We got the worst sleep of our lives in Room 223, all night long kids running up and down hallway, the back door below the steps slamming multiple times into early morning hours. Talked to the front desk twice and early morning manager. They said the owner would call us, but never did. Very disappointing for the $166 we paid, we will never return!
