I went here 10 years ago and now 10 years sober! I am incredibly grateful for this place. They helped save my life Yes, they were confrontational at times, but in a loving supportive way. It’s what I needed.

This place is an absolute cash grab. It is essentially a "Therapeutic Community" that creates a Lord of The Flies type atmosphere where patients are encouraged to stand up in group meeting and eviscerate other patients for the smallest infractions, such as walking on the grass at the motel they all stay in. The "counselors and staff" act in the same way but are much more abusive (Nate, you can go eff yourself). Money is their priority. I can't even count how many friends and other kids they forced off the property to die on the streets of South FL. Luckily those kids parents paid them enough "for treatment" not to care. The owner got himself an R8 last I saw him, I wonder how many dead bodies it took to get that baby?

My daughter was trying and struggling , she had paid a month in advance on the rent and they required her to see a therapist with $50 copay she did not have till she got paid. they discharged her and are contacting pbso to have her picked up on probation violation for them discharging her . This just proves it is only about the money for them .

I went to Renaissance years ago and wanted to leave a quick review. Prior to Caron Renaissance in Florida I went to several rehabs, all of which failed even after legal issues and problems with my family. Renaissance is known as the place where people go who can't get it anywhere else. Addiction is life or death, if you fail at rehab it isn't like you are failing at college, you are probably going to die or go to jail and that was very much a reality for me.
