I believe giving makes a big difference in the lives of others, and I am also circumspect on who is making the most out of my donations. My primary giving, above my tithe to the local church, is to CCO. Jim Cavnar and his team have a unique and successful plan for getting the needed resources to already existing locally established ministries who are doing the Lord's work in many places around the world. That means each dollar goes farther, and fewer donations are used to cover would-be multiplied administrative costs. Thanks, CCO for your faith and commitment to Jesus and His Church.

I am so glad to be a supporter of such a beautiful mission. I had never heard of Cross Catholic Outreach till one of their priests from Kenya came and visited our Parish of St. Patrick's in Milford. I love giving to an organization that both helps those who are in need and spreads the gospel of our Lord. Thank you for all that you do.

Cross Catholic Agency is prayerful ministry that is truly doing God's work. They are fully transparent with donors, sharing in detail how they put your dollars to work. They aid a multitude of countries, working with local partners to care for the poor and the afflicted. In the face of disasters and despair, Cross Catholic Outreach is a beacon of genuine hope in the name of Jesus Christ. They've more than earned their Platinum Charity Navigator ranking.

More than 95% of all organizational expenses, included donated goods, went directly to programs that help the poor during fiscal year 2019. Only 4.55% was used for overhead costs.
Dear Donnie, First, thank you for being a generous donor since 2011! To fund nearly 300 projects in 28 countries each year, we solicit the help of those donors who have responded to our requests for support. We do that by sending monthly appeals to donors, which is one of the main ways that we raise money to help the poor. Last year the average cost of an appeal was $0.43, sometimes more and sometimes less, so you can be assured that we’re not wasting money. Our total cost for fundraising typically is less than 5% of our expenses. We can certainly code your record to receive no more mail or less mail; we’re always happy to accommodate such requests from our donors. Blessings

A donation of any amount is so appreciated! Seniors who support our mission have given as little as $5 or as much as $500,000. You may also want to consider a monthly gift which allows you to play a critical role in the long-term effort to serve and empower the world’s poor and vulnerable in Christ’s name. Those monthly gifts, even a small amount, add up. If you would like to peruse our website to find a type of aid that tugs at your heart, please visit us at www.CrossCatholic.org or feel free to call a Donor Care Specialist to donate securely by phone – 800-914-2420. Thank you again for your heart for the poorest of the poor!
Cross Catholic Outreach and Cross International are only related in the sense that they were founded by the same president, Jim Cavnar. From Cross Catholic Outreach’s founding date forward, each has had a completely different board of directors, different budgets and supported different missions overseas. From 2001 to 2018, the organizations shared some staff resources in addition to Jim, such as human resources, accounting and technical support, in order to reduce costs. In 2018, Cross Catholic Outreach became completely independent of Cross International, with Jim Cavnar remaining the president of CCO and Kelly Miller taking over as CI’s president. The executives and other key staff members of the two ministries have been completely different and independent since then.
