This Florida insurance plan is horrible just like all the rest of the people that have put reviews about it they are not lying about how unethical & unprofessionalism that you have to deal with in order to get things resolved! You have to go through the department of children family services in order to get assign a healthcare plan which I am a single mother and I assigned myself with sunshine plan because my daughter's pediatrician since she was a baby will only accept this Medicaid, however whatever data the state of Florida uses I don't understand how DCF gives me a pediatrician that is assigned to the location that my child has been going to however when I go to my daughters doctors appointment for a school physical this year which was supposed to be covered ($135) I had to pay out-of-pocket because this insurance had the wrong pediatrician assigned matter of fact the pediatrician and they had assigned does not even work in that facility... you have to stay on hold for a long time and CALL BACK this is a complete headache and they need to work on bettering their services through the state of Florida! Now I'm trying to get reimbursed and it is like jumping through hoops because they are software doesn't match up! Ughhh what a PAIN IN THE A**!

Directory is not up to date. Doctors in network give poor care over all. You file a grievance and nothing is done in the patient’s favor . The coverage is great though. As well as short hold times for a representative.

There are too many examples of ineptitude for me to list here. Where i live there is no podiatrist. Yet they list a Dr who DOES NOT take medicaid. I spoke to their office 3 times to confirm. But Sunshine UNhealth swears he does. I had to put in a claim to see the CLOSEST Dr, 120 miles away. I was told it would take at least a month. When i called them back they had no record of claim. Of course. Or how about now having to PAY out of pocket for prescription, a dr office error. When i called for that all i got after half hour on hold for an answer was to call the Dr. I told them i was having problems with office. Or how about the time I called to report a dentist committing fraud? Didn't care The State of Florida is getting ripped off JUST LIKE THE PATIENTS 🤬

Call the Access line and ask for a copy of your termination notice or log on to your account online and review notices. If you were termed, you probably missed a notice asking for documentation or an action. ie child support compliance, a renewal, updated income verification...

Disabled ,cognitive damaged. Aide tried to place order at 4:30/ pm. No computer ,and limited minutes,on phone.Battery died.One hour she tried to order my OTC meds. Because the first will be another month.will try again tomorrow.
