I found Justin’s law firm online through his great reviews. My case was long and tedious but let me say that I am so glad I found and hired Justin. He went above and beyond in my opinion. He’s there anytime day or night if you have questions. His communication was great, I have to also mention Jenny, she was wonderful and very helpful. I would 1000% hire him as your attorney. Thank you so much Justin & Jenny for being there and helping me with this case!

JZ helps is a firm I would highly recommend. My case was complicated. I was visiting from out of town when my rental SUV was rear-ended near Ocala. I went to the hospital by ambulance and the rental car was declared a total loss. Even though I was out-of-state, Justin and Jenny, communicated often. I always felt like I knew what they were doing on my behalf. Justin fought hard for me and won a fair settlement.

Questions & Answers

Is a grocery store required to provide a copy of an accident report they only put together. The claimant was taken to the hospital via EMS and did not give a statement nor sign what the store manager think they heard or think happen.

Hi Wendy: My response applies to accidents in Florida, which is where I'm licensed. A store that takes a written statement by an injured person must give it to the injured person. Florida Statute 92.33.  Before a lawsuit, I don't believe that a store must turn over its incident report to a customer. That said, some voluntarily do. During a lawsuit, a judge could require a grocery store to give the injured person (or their attorney) a copy of the incident report. However, most judges don't require that the store give the incident report to the plaintiff (injured person). Some judges may privately review the incident report to see if a witness is listed who should be disclosed to the customer (or his/her lawyer).
