The buses are great, but if you’re on UNL campus, it will behoove you to stand in the street rather than wait for the inbound buses to (a) have the correct bus signage lit up, (b) stop at either 1400 R or in front of the Cinema, or (c) see you waiting in the bus stop or between the several bus stop signs.

Busses run Monday-Saturday. They do not run on New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas. Starting 11/01/2018, they are adding routes and extending hours to a couple of routes.

I work at UNL and I received a free Star Tran bus pass with my parking permit. Can I have my son use it to ride the bus home from his high school even though he doesn't have a Ncard (since he isn't a college student).

As it says right on the pass you received the pass is non transferable. It can only be used by the person it is issued to. Making a copy of your N-card is illegal.

A 20 ride ticket will print each time you use it. A 31 day pass will have the activation and expiration days printed on the pass.

The only one that will get you the closest is the #27 bus. It will drop at 28th and Fletcher the you will have to walk north on 28th I think about 6 blocks.
