This is an amazing place to live for low income families. I would highly recommend it. The apartments are nice clean, no mildew, no bugs. They have an after school program which is really great! They can get help with homework. They do movies and stuff for the kiddos. The maintenance is awesome. There is a waiting list, but well worth the wait. It's the best kept secret in Jackson county in my opinon .

I was given a list of family housing but the website calls it retirement housing. I got the list from Jackson county housing authority, so someone made a mistake on what kind of housing this place is. I'm confused, is it retirement or family housing?

The apartments are amazing! There is rules here, no drug's that is very strict which I'm very grateful for. So not 420 friendly it's federal housing so the rules apply. You cannot have a friend staying over night more than 3 weeks per guest, out of the year. Shoes are to be worn outside of your apartment. That is the one that gets to me I hate shoes in the summer. Not too much not to like as long you don't mind those thing's it's pretty great place to live!! I will say that the 2 bdrm units the noise of downstairs upstairs can be very trying. 3 bdrm are amazing!! You generally don't hear your neighbor! Unless they are really, really loud. 😉
There is currently a waitlist for our 3 and 4 bedroom apartments. If you're interested in housing, we would suggest completing an application and providing that to the office at Glenridge Terrace. You can find an application online at https://www.retirement.org/community-housing/glenridge-terrace-apartments/
Hi Stephanie, You are welcome to stop by for an application as we typically keep them in the foyer area or outside in a wall pocket. Glenridge Terrace does not have one bedroom apartments, the community is made up of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom units.
Hi Yolanda, Thanks for reaching out to Glenridge Terrace Apartments! Please give us a call at the number listed in our Google profile for more information about apartment availability and our wait-list.
