Nathan propagates and sells such good looking and useful plants. I'm thankful for you doing this.

I've been a patron of Midwest Natives Nursery for 2 years now. Their mission to promote the use of native plants is very important for our future, and I feel very grateful that I have the option to shop this local nursery so close to home. Below are a few of my plants I have purchased from there. These were taken 1 year from planting last summer. You never would have known that the previous season they started as little 1 inch plugs. These plants kept the birds fed over the winter and have been a frequented haven for thousands of pollinators this spring and summer. I highly recommend this shop- Nathan is a wealth of knowledge and very helpful!

Questions & Answers

Blue Vervain, do you carry it and if so, do you any on hand?

Hi there! We do carry Blue Vervain and will have some available when we open August 29th. You can check out our full species list for the Fall as well as information on how to order online at facebook.com/midwestnatives/

I'm looking to add some Clove Currents to my soon to be terraced lawn. I'm hoping for both male and female for the berries (if I understand correctly). Is that something you would carry when the spring/summer season comes?

Hi Theresa! Unfortunately this is not something we carry as we primarily specialize in perennial flowers and grasses. Our good friends at Great Plains Nursery do carry it though, as well as a number of other amazing native shrubs and trees! You can check out their selection here: https://greatplainsnursery.com/product-category/shrubs/
