We have shopped at this Ace since we moved to Lincoln 5 years ago and always had good service. This morning i went into the store with a Stihl chainsaw I bought about 18 months ago. The first time i went to use it i found out they had installed the chain backward so it wouldn't cut anything! So I just put it up and didnt want to mess with it. Last night i tried to reverse the chain and had a real hard time getting the bolt out of the chain bar it wouldn't loosen up and when it came off it stayed attached to the cover. Keep in mind Ace put this together at this store. So this morning we needed to use the saw to make room for a hot tub delivery. So i went into the store with the saw in pieces. I was told I needed to take it across town to the service center for repairs. The lady at the counter tried loosening the bolt with no luck as I tried to tell her. I told her that it hadn't been put together right by there store in the first place and wanted the saw replaced. I was told by, I believe the manager that I had bought the saw when the place was under different ownership and they wouldn't have any record of my purchase and they couldn't do anything for me. Then he proceeded to try and loosen the nut with no luck..lol This is no way to handle a customer and I let him know that! I took The saw right to the Stihl Authorized dealer TCA Outdoor Power the tech took one look and chuckled said they stripped out the bolt by over tightening it. The saw is still under full warranty! 15 min later I was on my way with a working chainsaw! I wont ever set foot in Westlake Ace Hardware again! And I hope Ace Hardware Corporate know how there operators run there store! Not the Neighborhood friendly hardware store we have been accustomed to.

Great prices on those specialty items you can't find anywhere else except maybe a hugh store like menards. Nuts, bolts, screws etc. Best prices.

Hello all! Before I leave this review, I think it’s important to know that I’ve spent thousands of my own money in the last two years at this specific Ace Hardware on miscellaneous projects around the house! I live a few blocks from this store in the Tierra Park area, so it’s extremely convenient to be able to swing over and grab what I need. Anything from grass seed, plumbing, or even paint. My wife and I are in the process of priming and painting out oak trim in the house, and needed a few different options. When searching for our desired products today, we dealt with a girl named Kelsey, who appeared to be working the paint station. Up until this point, other shopping experiences have been pleasant. As of today, I will take my business elsewhere like Lowe’s or Home Depot. When dealing with Kelsey, she was rude and condescending from the very beginning. My wife and I make a comfortable living, but here we felt like second class citizens. She questioned whether we could afford the paint more than once, because she was surprised we wanted multiple samples to be sure that what we picked is what we wanted, and were well aware that they weren’t free samples. We could clearly see the price on the shelves. Maybe it may have been because we were both covered in paint? Either way, we weren’t treated good at all. It’s amazing how one person can steer you in another stores direction altogether. Upon looking at sample sheets, she snapped at me specifically about not touching them for whatever reason. She stated that they were out of, “simply white,” example papers, as I was also aware of this. My wife and I were taken back by all of this at this point, and jokingly said, “well someone’s crabby today.” Needless to say, I will never spend another dollar here. But, I have a feeling that every customer is just a number anyway after this experience. I will gladly drive the extra three miles to Lowe’s. Thanks for reading & in short, I don’t encourage you to go to this store! Especially as long as Kelsey works here. Have a great day!

Hi Dennis! We do stock an LED bulb in 7/15/23 watts (the equivalent of 50/100/150). The color temperatures are 800/1600/2000 lumens, which fall on the WARM end of the color spectrum. You can view color temperature chart here, if it's helpful: http://www.westinghouselighting.com/color-temperature.aspx The item number you're looking for is #3597192, and we're happy to have someone hold some up at the register for you, or you can order online and pick up in the store. Please let us know if we can help beyond that! Thank you!
