We just concluded the life of our loved one. Josie provided everything we needed, quickly and professionally. We understand the staff do a strenuous and difficult job. We were pleased with everything and everyone. They provided all information clearly. Also care and concern was practiced in such a way that everyone was considered, including the patient. Many thanks to Teresa and Dee to name just a few. Staff, we appreciate you.

In my opinion, a very disappointing experience to be treated so poorly by the day staff as well as the billing department. They activately gossiped about our family amongst the employees and shared entirely false and fabricated stories. Daytime staff complained that there were too many people visiting grandma. Evening and night staff were fabulous and treated our family member and extended loved ones with respect and dignity that all human beings deserve ❤️

On site Nurses and CNA Staff were exceptionally nice. Clean, but dated decor. Heating & cooling did not hold even temperature. Nice view out of the windows and lots of birds to watch (we did bring our own bird food as every feeder was empty our entire stay). Billing was misleading, we were told the $400 required upon admission was our deposit but it was actually an administrative fee. The fee essentially covers billing as we never saw a staff member other than nursing staff after the first 15 minutes of our stay. We were also charged for the full day our mother passed even though they moved a new resident in about 8 hours later (essentially billing twice for one room). Nursing staff was wonderful, but administrators left us feeling disappointed in Harper Hospice House.

Helpful and kind.

I was able to bring my cat to visit my mom while she was at Josie Harper. The cat can only come for short visits, not overnight stays, and must stay in the resident's room, not wander the facility.
You have to choose between Aseracare or CHI Agency
Yes, they do accept Medicaid.
Yes. They also have laundry facilities you can use, and a kitchen with coffee and snacks available free of charge.
