My son getting SSI i visit the office just to bring my paycheck the person who assisted me said he will putting on the system and I received a letter said they need my paycheck again I don’t know what this peoples doing on that office and I have call from Mrs Wint she was so nasty rude to me.they need to fired this all off thems no phones call you cannot call them .Mrs Wint ask cause received SSI this peoples do not have respect for parents

Makes 0 sense that a social security office is unable to assist with getting a social security card. Guard told me I had to go to the Orlando office where the line is longer than one for a new Disney ride. Waited 1 and half hours and was still not even halfway in the queue. Wish I could give 0 stars.

I never felt so disrespected that is a lady named Toya she is so rude she does not answer your question she has no patience after I wait for an hour to speak with someone she came back to me and said you had to wait for a letter and I’ve been waiting since December I asked to speak with a supervisor and she said it’s no one available and then she hang up

This office is only good for other things than replacement of cards which is the dumbest thing ever and very inconvenient you have to go all the way to Orlando just to wait a very very long time unless you pitch up a tent in the parking lot.

Yes you can apply for Medicaid while your working or not. They will ask if you have any assets, about all your bank accounts, cash, or anyone living in the home who has a income, cash, and anything that can be used for medical bills. So basically if you have a need for assistance it's there to help.
But I would try anything I can to make it without using state Medicaid. Good luck....

Well if you really need to talk with someone at Social Security, I recommend you as much reading as possible online for someone who wants to retire. There are many helpful sites full of information and videos to learn from. Simple do a search for social security retirement, enter your age then go from there. Next thing you can login to a "mysocialsecurity.gov" account. Here you will see your past earnings basic information including how much you will receive if you retire now.

Same thing happened to me and it was because my identity was stolen a few years back, so now I have to go to the office and get a code to then open the account on line. Bring proof to the office(id's). Hope this helps.
