Kevin D. - There is a small nice gift shop on the pier itself. No surf board rentals. Both shopping & surf board rentals are found more south of the pier on A1A.
The pier does have fishing gear rentals, BUT the ONE fishing area has been cut way down to the shallow waters in favor of another food eatery at the deep water very end of the pier AND then shuttling food carts past those few who are trying to fish. The pier management is favoring more places to eat and drink then what it was built for. Plus, the $10 car parking fee is a bit high.
