Everything in the home was stunning! It's a gift that places like this have been preserved for future generations to see and experience. I only wish more were saved and restored. The staff or volunteers, I'm not sure which they are, were all very nice and knowledgeable in general. My only issues are: cash only (not expensive, $5 each, but we were traveling and didn't have cash on us, which meant we had to leave & find an ATM), limited hours, and it's a guided tour that feels rushed. It felt like we couldn't truly look around and take everything in, before being shuffled to the next room. Once we reached the end of the tour, it felt even more rushed, and they were hurrying to get the door locked behind us as we left. Overall, it was still a good experience and I would recommend it to others.

They are specific on what they take. Call them and tell them what you have. The last I knew they only took things specific to the time Fremont was founded.

Has anyone had a wedding in a museum? Does anyone know if they rent for weddings?

They do not allow weddings, parties, etc in the building. One can schedule use of the grounds though.
