Great treatment at ER and inpatient care for 5 day stay. The nursing staff were exceptionally kind.

One of the worst experiences of my life. I gave birth in this hospital and for sure one of the worst mistakes ever. The nurse had unmaintained nails some long some short most broken. When she goes to check how dialated I was she hurt me and made me bleed which no nurse or doctor had ever done. When she put in my IV again she hurt and bruised my arm. While I was trying to push out my baby unmedicated she told me to stop screaming because you know pushing a baby out doesn't hurt right! And if that was not enough when it came to the massage after the birth to get out any leftover fluids, she dug her nails in my stomach and left marks. The doctor who delivered my baby was great but the nurses not so much. Never will I go back to that hospital.

Great experience today . They got me in and out in no time. My Doctor and nurses were great. Nick, the Cat scan guy was awesome, personable. That really made me feel more at ease. Thank you .

Hi, Kristy! Our hospital in Smithfield has a cardiac catheterization lab. Learn more about it by visiting us online https://www.johnstonhealth.org/care-treatment/heart-vascular/cardiac-catheterization/.
Hi Anabell! Please visit https://vaccine.unchealthcare.org/get-vaccinated/ to make an appointment online or by phone Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. m. to 4 p. m. by calling (984) 215-5485.
Currently, Johnston Health is only conducting outpatient procedures, meaning patients go home the same day and do not stay overnight. Therefore, unless your doctors have told you otherwise, we anticipate that neither you nor your husband will stay the night at the hospital. Additionally, in adherence to our COVID-19 protocols, we are not currently allowing overnight family member stays except for when the patient has memory problems or other underlying conditions that require a family member to be present.
Hi, Winnie. Under our current restrictions, outpatient and clinic areas will allow one companion per patient to be present. However, we encourage individuals who are able to come alone to do so to support social distancing efforts. Also, all patients, companions, visitors, community practitioners and vendors must wear masks at Johnston Heath facilities. For more information on the latest visitor restrictions, please visit our website at https://www.johnstonhealth.org/coronaviruscovid-19-resources/visitor-restrictions/.
Johnston Health uses Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) COVID-19 tests for emergency room patients, inpatients and outpatients prior to some procedures. PCR tests are molecular tests that detect specific DNA or genetic material in a specimen; however, other testing methods exist. If youβre interested in getting tested, we recommend using NCDHHS' Find My Testing Place tool to find a testing center near you: https://covid19.ncdhhs.gov/about-covid-19/testing/find-my-testing-place.
