Visited SIUC for a short weekend to meet my friends. They are very generous and allowed us to play inside Rec center. It’s huge and has lots of facilities.

Good gym but charges enrolled students to use the facility over the summer. I dont get how you could be enrolled in classes for the upcoming fall semmmester and be charged upwards of $70 to use the gym thats otherwise free. Doesnt make sense for how much tuition costs and for how much SIU will already practically scam you out of even more money.

Yes,it is also open to the public. You will have to explain to the staffs at the reception,they will tell you what you need to do.
You have to have a student ID present or a membership to get. They've always been really strict about that. Did her friends have ID when she didn't?
It averages to $40 a month. You can buy a yearly membership for $365 though and have it average $1 a day
