paws4people is a great organization! I have seen firsthand how the work they do changes the lives of the people they serve. The staff is professional and helpful, Bailey and Abi have become role models for me and I’m so thankful to have met them through paws4people. I feel blessed to have been able to volunteer with this organization, and have gained skills and experience in leadership, time management, and team-building thanks to the opportunities they have given me. I highly recommend paws4people!

Paws4people is a power-hungry organization that benefits from making others seem small. They exploit students in their program that is run through UNC-Wilmington by requiring students to earn a certain amount of volunteer hours for a GRADE and benefitting from the free labor that students provide. You will notice that all of the positive reviews were posted around the same time. Paws4people asked their clients (who are disabled and received dogs from them) to write a review. Asking clients to write a review when they have the capability to remove the dog from your care, is unethical at best and a poor way of portraying the organization. If you get on the founder's bad side, Kyria, she will take back your service dog without remorse. Additionally, they view any other service dog organization as competition, and rather than choosing to partner with other organizations, they will classify it as a conflict of interest. They view any background with other service dog organizations as negative and a threat to their fragile organization. However, the most disgusting part of this corrupt organization is the fact that they force every single client to publicly share their story online. This includes details of their medical and psychiatric diagnoses and incredibly sensitive information that is under their client "profile" on their website. I implore anyone seeking a service dog or facility dog to search elsewhere. As for Paws4People, do better.

This is a great organization that helps people and dos alike. Thank you for supporting veterans, first providers, and those who need emotion and physical assistance
