The greens here are beyond awful, I cannot remember the last time I played on greens this bad, stay away until they actually care for the greens

Pretty insane that they are charging $50 to play here with the current conditions. The greens have a lot of dead/bare spots on almost all of the greens. They are also extremely slow. Serious golfers should avoid in the near future until they get the greens under control. Other than the greens, the course is in pretty decent shape.

Best course around for the $. Only big gripe is the cart boundary system. Venture off path in places & the cart will STOP, you can't reverse out or extract. You have to PUSH it. There are NO SIGNS (I don't want to drive where I shouldn't) but you suddenly have a cart that doesn't move. Hope you're in excellent shape to push a golf cart. Good times at 60 yrs old and 95 out.

Absolutely an excellent golf course. I've been playing here for 15 years and consider it my home course. At Old Fort it is all about the golf with no pretense. Great staff, great layout, and it is always in beautiful condition. Perfect course design for those who like to walk. They also do a wonderful job encouraging the next generation of golfers. Murfreesboro is a better place because of this municipal gem.
