I applaud what they do - there is a dire need and they meet it. Accolades to them all. Our Antique Car Club took our cars to be viewed. Was kinda hoping they would offer hotdogs or something to the car club but I guess they were busy with their 40 year celebration. RCS does a wonderful job.

Monday thru Friday 11am-1pm. I believe you have to have ID and there is usually a line. Once you are in there system you can come once a month to get clothes.

Social services will pay a portion Miss Nancy at New Bern salvation army and RCS but I got approved over 2 weeks ago and my power got cut off and I still haven't got my lights on so best of luck is to get them put in somebody else's name ends up being a lot cheaper it's only $250

Time varies and NO. They'll kinda help with giving you leads or other leads on resources. Have little to no expectations for those issues unless they come up with and "A new thing". PROOF.
The soup kitchen serves at 10:30am to 11:45am Monday through Saturday. Sunday 8:30am to 9:30am. Which is a breakfast meal only.

Couples cant stay there together. & there is no family room open until march bc the shelter is under construction. So kids cant stay until March when they finish construction
You can go to the local police station and register to stay at RCS (Religious Community Services). If you are a veteran they will give you a private room. However, they don't allow pets. Everyone has to register at the police station. There is no other shelter here except the women's shelter for abused women and their children. You may be able to get Palls for Paws to foster your cats until you get on your own.
When we first moved out here my fiance slept in our truck in their parking lot while me and the kids slept in the family room. At the time men weren't allowed in the family room (idk if its the same now). I'd suggest going up there, if your already sleeping in your vehicle and they dont have any space available then sleep in your car until a space becomes available. They serve food week days, you can also get can foods for the weekends. I haven't been back in yrs, but I think they will work with you as long as your trying to help yourself.
