Been on hold for 45 minutes... Have yet to even talk to a person... Just trying to get the utilities transferred out of my name and back to the apartment complex... Utilities were always extremely high price wise even in my small 2 bedroom apt... Estatic to be moving away from Rocky Mount the city, in general, is as corrupt as corrupt gets... The utilities company is no different... getting close to being on hold for an hour now... This is unacceptable...

If there is a rich man somewhere in America please takeover Rocky mount with your own utility company. I never in my life had to deal with such distasteful, disorganized, disrespectful employees in my life. They so unregulated and when I call the state to regulate them, they said they have their own board and that’s why they are able to work whatever trumped up system they have in place. I can’t wait to move from here. The utilities be more than the rent. stay out of the city of Rocky mount the utility company is horrible.

Rocky Mount Public Works will collect garbage, recycling items and yard waste by regular schedule except for Fridays, Dec. 25 and Jan. 1. Items normally collected on those days will be collected the following Saturdays, Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.

There is an on call technician 24 & 7 days that will address utility issues. I don't think they light pilots...i would Google it or call them via the 800 number not the local number
