The worst medical practice in New Bern. The staff lose your paperwork/records, make numerous errors in the records they do have and refuse to rectify the problems they have caused. They actually blame you for their obvious mistakes. They don't practice medicine, they practice making mistakes and never take responsibility for them. Avoid CCHC.

I transferred to New Bern from upstate NY in 2015 and have had zero issues being seen. My records were easily transferred from NY, and the care has always been exceptional. They're privately owned and operated, always clean and organized, and have a vast system of providers in several offices throughout the area. Sure, the wait time in UC can be long sometimes, but, it's one of the most favored(and few) UC facilities in the area, so everyone will go there. Scheduling online before hand helps with the wait time, and allows for individuals to be able to get other things done rather than sitting in a waiting room for hours like other facilities. I give 4 stars because they're human, and are far from perfect. The occasional issues I have had over the years are far less than the ones I haven't had.

I like my Mom's dr. But the waiting time is ridiculous. We were 15 minutes early. We get called back on time. We have been in the back room for 30 minutes. When we checked in, I overheard a man checking in to see the same dr. 5 minutes apart from my Mom's appt. They need to fix this. It is obnoxious to wait for your appt this long when they won't wait on you if you are 30 minutes late.
