@Randy Winfrey: yes sir although they have social distancing in place now outside of the DMV. Yhree people enter the DMV at one time and as each one leaves, one in line goes in. I think the longest I had to wait was about 10 minutes outside.
Its like $52 for title transfer and then there is the registration fee you have to pay at the time you register the vehicle. I think I paid like $25 in registration fees. So its between 50 and 100 like the previous post states.
I own a trailer from the state of Georgia. Georgia does not require a title for a trailer. I have a renewed registration from Georgia. Is this sufficient to get a title for it in North Carolina?

Best bet is to go up there with no expectations because regardless of how prepared I am, I never have everything they need.
My friend, who failed his driving test before COVID-19 happened, is unable to obtain a waiver. Since driving tests are suspended, how is he supposed to get a driver's license?

No they take credit and debit now.
Can you get these tags in the mail once you’ve gotten your inspection?
Yes. You will need to register your car there and then you will receive inspection notices.
I believe you will need 2 forms of ID, insurance and current registration.You can also check their website.
