You can camp for free on the island..no power,,no restrooms,,, boat only travel..

"Dogs are allowed on Masonboro Island but MUST be leashed at all times." It is hardly enforced on Masonboro Island as there is just no realistic way to monitor since it is only accessible by boat. Typically whenever I go, there are dogs off leash. It is a reserve so it's to protect wildlife.
