I've been going here with my children since they were very young. They're grown and gone now and after all these years, it's still one of my favorite places. John is such a wonderful person to talk to and the bed and breakfast are always amazing. Definitely recommend if you want a relaxing place to stay.

Really enjoyed our stay here. We rented the top room and had the best night sleep ever. We left our door open all night (had a screen door to close) so that we could fall asleep listening to the waterfall. Bed was perfect. Breakfast was outstanding. They are such sweet people too really enjoyed sitting down at Breakfast and talking. Definitely recommend staying here.

What a wonderful experience!!! I can’t believe that I have always lived so near, but had never stayed here. Everything was perfect from the clean, soft sheets and comfy beds to the absolutely delicious breakfast. Thank you so much for helping my daughter have a wonderful wedding day!

We had a wonderful time at the bed & breakfast. It was such a nice, peaceful weekend, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The breakfasts were superb, the room lovely and spacious, and John and Mildred were gracious hosts. And Snickers, the B&B mascot, and official greeter was friendly.

Eli, Thank you for your question. June, August, October, and November are our busiest months. Many people make reservations a year in advance, especially repeat customers who want the same date in the coming year. Ledford Mill is open most dates. Sometimes we close for January and/or February if an especially cold winter is forecast. This year we have also closed for some much needed repairs with a few more scheduled before the end of this year. We also have some friends and family that stay for an extended period. Also we also may block out days for a short while after an especially busy time to recharge ourselves. We love and welcome our guests but we also need time to ourselves.
