This business has tarnished the image of Maggie Valley and surrounding communities. They have openly displayed their hate and contempt for law enforcement as well as locals. So unless you are a communist or do not want the protection of law enforcement (although I know our heroes in uniform would still be there for your needs), by all means stay at this place, but if you support those in blue, are not a communist, etc... I highly suggest that you keep going and find a much better place to stay down the road. I hope you enjoy your stay in a beautiful area. Blessings!

I've been staying at Our Place Inn for six years, and there are good reasons for that: - the owners are friendly, clear, and reply very promptly to any question or concern you have. - the rooms are clean, and they go above and beyond to keep them that way - the owners will just sit down and talk with you and other visitors, which is really nice and is just one example of how warm and genuine they are - they have a gentle, adorable greeter dog who lives there and that you get to pet! They also have chickens! - their prices are extremely reasonable - it's a gorgeous location - they care about systemic issues in their community, paying out of their own pocket and spending their own time to buy (and continually stock) a trailer of food, clothing, books, personal hygiene products, and more, all for the local housing- and food-insecure population, and they ask no thanks or recognition for this I will continue to visit them as long as they are around, which I hope is a long time. It's rare that a business does good for both their customers *and* their community, and does it because it is just the right thing to do, rather than doing it for recognition or some other motive.

Always welcoming, Our Place Inn is a delightful stop every time we go to Maggie Valley. The owners are always wonderful and it's within walking distance of several Maggie Valley shops and restaurants. Bonus: not only are they dog friendly but there's a friendly dog that stays on property too!! Highly recommended.

The owners are amazing—they are friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the rates are very reasonable. I love that there are several outdoor spaces where folks can gather, and we especially enjoyed the fire pit. I highly recommend and plan on visiting again.
