Holiday Inn Express & Suites Waterford, an IHG Hotel

Checked in late Friday. Savanah was awesome - super kind, friendly and helpful. We went to our room and the door handle was busted. Finally got the door to open. Foyer light took forever to turn on and flickered with haunting foreshadowing. Curtain on the window was ripped up and snagged, make-up was on the pillow case, deadbolt did not work, bathroom faucet dripped, bed was cold and wet due to faulty Ptac (two nights of a wet bed was what did it for me). All this for only $200/night… 2/10 would probably not come again. But yes, the staff is wonderful, towels were clean and good to go and breakfast was consistently very good. PS: I work in the hospitality industry and have surveyed hotels across the country. I take no pleasure in reporting a bad experience :(

First and foremost Melissa was amazing!! I was in town for a funeral and had a very bad experience with having booked another hotel shortly before coming to this one. The place seemed good online, but was a horror in person and on top of that, their customer service was so bad and wouldn't refund my $200 even though I returned to the lobby to leave shortly after having arrived. Because of this, I asked Melissa if I was able to see the room ahead of booking and after hearing my story she happily obliged. The room was wonderful - very neat, clean, and nothing broken or trashed - the hotel was also very nice and the staff was all very friendly. On top of all of this Melissa worked with me on the rate because of the bind I was in due to this other hotel and I am very very grateful for her!! Overall, she made the experience so lovey and made me feel so welcome and has forever gained my business when I am back in town!! Also, the breakfast was really good too! Everything was fresh and they had a nice selection of options :)

We had a great experience at this Holiday Inn Express. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff is what made the stay excellent. The front desk staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Teresa was awesome. The breakfast was excellent. We loved the pancake machine. The pool was enjoyable also.

Very clean rooms. The service is above and beyond. Everyone here was amazing. The price was the best price around and we were close to everything we needed to be close to. This was the best Holiday Inn Express I have ever stayed at.
