Really nice place. Good spot to rough it. Legit outhouses. One didn't have a light and one did. Drive path around loop was pretty pothole infested. But other than that I highly recommend for some bringing it back to nature vibes.

This is a great campground. There is a parking lot at the very beginning, which is what you’ll use if you are just here for the day. The picnic area has several fire pits and grills, and it looks like someone pulled out some big tree logs to sit on, in addition to the provided picnic tables. Camping itself was relaxing and peaceful here. I managed to snag a site and there was only one other site occupied, it was a week day. There’s a ton of sticks to use for kindling, and there are quite a few downed trees we could have used Gad we brought an axe or a hatchet. Some of the spaces were pretty close to each other, only one or two were more secluded (but you could still see and I’m sure hear other campers if more sites were used). They have flattened ground designated platforms ideal for pitching tents. I pulled my car up (you park at your site) and slept in it, I prefer that. During the daytime you can hear birds chirping, little animals like squirrels running up trees. At night, it was so quiet. You can sort of hear cars on the road nearby, but they almost blended in with the crickets, not too noticeable at all especially with a fire going. We stayed two nights, and we heard coyotes howling in the distance both nights, which was pretty cool. We saw no wildlife at night, but that is fine with me! When we went into the woods nearby to gather up sticks, we didn’t see much a trace of animals, besides a single pile of deer poo, and what I believe was dog poo. I think we also found a nest along a stream of water (definitely not drinking water, and not much. More just muddy runoff water), which appeared to be abandoned, but cool nonetheless.

This was a nice camping experience. The campground is small, about a dozen sites within earshot of one another. There's a day use area, some bathrooms. Nothing too exciting to comment on, though. The grounds seemed well kept, no trash laying around.

Beautiful campground! My wife and I enjoyed our time at BLUEBERRY PATCH. It feels "hands-off," since there aren't any staff ever around. Each night was different. One night another camper was blasting music very late but other nights it was quiet and peaceful. Found a few blueberries growing on one of the trails. We had fun but it was not as secluded as we expected.

It used to be right on the corner between the Interloken Trail and the campground, but there's not a lot left compared to years ago.
It's always open. It's just that the gates are not always open and you may need to hike your gear in. There are self pay stations at the entrance.
It's popular on the weekends all summer and does fill up, but Thurs arrival should be fine.
The Blueberry Patch is in Hector, NY. It is part of the National Forest system, so maybe that's why the number in Wisconsin? The camp is first come first served. Maximum stay of two weeks. Daily fee payment by cash only. Can't remember the exact fee, maybe $10/day. Composting toilets, dumpster available. Welcome back! -frequent camper
I believe it's open year around. I've camped there even in Late Fall. When you enter, at the right, there is an "Information Board" with the Campground expectations and regulations and more info; also a "Money Box" for cash self-pay for your stay.
No hook ups. $15.00 a night paid on the honor system.
