Picked up an item that was a gift for my wife's birthday. The item i purchased was described as "new in box" but the box was clearly opened and the product was used and completely broken. I reached out to the customer service department. They said they would give a full refund if I return the item. I live 30 minutes away and had to take time off of work to pickup the item. Now I need to drive back to return the item for a return. Big waste of my time and gas money. I will never use this site again. Very disappointed 😞

50% of their items are misrepresented. I was winning bidder on 4 items. Two items were as advertised…a set of Reidel wine glasses and a new in box air fryer. OK five stars! The other two items both advertised as new in box were completely misrepresented and one was straight up fraudulent. One was retractable garden hose, billed as new in box, clearly not, missing mounting parts which negated any savings. The last was a blackstone grill- when I went to pick up the box looked horrible, with like 4 coats of packing tape- clearly not what i consider new in box. Anyhow opened and it appeared to be “new”. Got home and started putting together and turns out it was a completely different model than advertised and shown on box…someone went to great lengths to fill box with a substantially cheaper model. (Like $100 different retail) Technically it was a new grill and technically it was in a box, but I paid like full retail. If the right grill had been in box i would have gotten an decent deal. Plus they now add 13% buyers premium…isn’t buyers premium to cover cost of auctioneer?…Which they don’t have since its all online now. And sadly you cant even preview stuff that you are bidding on. That should be a clue.
