If you want to purchase them thru the app, there's a convenience fee. Also you can download this App called Atom. Register and link your amc card. Sometimes they offer free movies and buy one get one free movies.

Morning prices are from whenever the theater opens (varies on day; 30 minutes before the showing of the first movie) to 11:55am with all tickets costing $5.29 (before tax). Our Matinee prices are from 12:00pm to 3:55pm with differing reduced ticket prices. Any movies starting at 4:00pm or after is considered prime time and will not have the reduced prices in the Matinees.

Reserved seating is actually awesome in my opinion. I like to buy my tickets through the app & I can pick where I want to sit at that time. It stops the need to get to the movie theater an hour in advance to make sure you don't end up in the front row because every other seat is taken.

On a weekend its probably call the same. I do know it is a lot cheaper on weekdays.
