What a beautiful park! Lush, green, vast, and picturesque. There is ample seating on the grass, as well as some benches nearby, and everything is clean and well-maintained. There's always some festival or other going on nearby, and the fact that the park is built on a hill makes it great for people-watching. Bring some burritos, beer, and grab an ice cream at Bi-Rite and chow down on it while sitting on the grass. That's a perfect LA afternoon.
