Dr Barnyak saved my badly broken wrist from surgery. I am so grateful to him and all the ER staff for their care, comfort and support! The triage nurse was so kind, and Claire was so supportiveandreassuring! She got me through the bone setting process! I'm also grateful to Suzanne in Radiology.

The best hospital, staff and Drs. If you are thinking about going here, you will be in great hands.

The nurses that handle triage calls are consistently kind and helpful. Five stars to them. SVMC and SVMC Northshire have some spectacular doctors. Five stars for them. Here's the one-star that brings this whole evaluation down: the music (a short loop with a banging noise throughout) that plays while waiting on the phone (which is often for 10 minutes or more) is absolutely horrendous. If someone were anxious when calling SVMC, they would be going mad by the time they were able to talk to someone. I have mentioned this to several people, but nobody seems to know what to do about it. I can only speculate that the sound file is intentionally annoying so callers will hang up (which I've done more than once). Who sold them on this particular thrashing-machine music? I don't know, nor do I know how else to complain that might actually get it changed.

The way they do,(or don't do), triage is crazy. First come, first serve...unless they think you are a quick problem then they take you ahead of serious stuff. Making people suffering wait even longer. Expect to take 3+ hours on a short wait time. Watched a kid no more than 5 wheeze and cry cause he couldn't breath or walk for an hour before his parents lost it and insisted he be taken immediately. Then it still took 10 minutes. I know they busy, the nurses are kind, the staff is friendly. They need leadership and some kind of humane system that makes sense. Me, I waited 3 hrs and 45 min. and left not being able to be seen.

We have one practice accepting new patients. Please call SVMC Northshire Campus to set up a first appointment. (802) 362-4440
Hi Stephanie. Please call our Patient Advocate. Her name is Mary Anne, and she can be reached at 802-440-4054.
Thanks for asking. Please see "What Insurances Do You Accept?" at https://svhealthcare.org/patients-visitors/billing-insurance for a complete list.
Kim is correct. Thanks, Kim. No visitors are allowed at this time, unless the patient is at the end of life. In that case, a limited number of visitors are admitted at a time, regardless of vaccination status. Calling first, if you feel the policy may have changed, is a great idea too. Thanks, Julie, for that suggestion.
Yes! We have three housekeeper openings. Apply today. https://pm.healthcaresource.com/cs/svhealthcare#/job/2407
I recommend calling the COVID-19 Informational Hotline at 802-440-8844.
Thanks for reaching out. We are working on vaccinating our frontline workers and on developing a process for our community vaccinations. We will be making information available to primary care providers and on svhealthcare.org as soon as we have it in place. Sign up for our e-newsletter at https://conta.cc/3gLkcCL. Thank you.
It does. It is accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer and affiliated with Dartmouth-Hitchcock. (This means it offers lots more than many other cancer centers its size.) Give them a call for more information at 802-447-1836.
No inpatient, only outpatient, South Western Vermont Medical Center gave my father Zolderonic acid with NO dialysis which caused for his organs to shut down a hundred times faster, while giving him lethal amounts of morphine and a combinated cocktail of roxiect and a revealed fetanyol patch.
