Robin (I think? Sorry!) at Flowers of Distinction is a life saver! I had placed an order for flowers for my boss's wife's birthday twice! First on Overnight Flowers, which they then emailed and said they couldn't deliver the next day as advertised. Then, on 1-800-Flowers over the phone and they never actually submitted my order! I decided to support small business and call Robin who operates in the same area as my boss's residence. Not only did she create a bouquet and deliver it the SAME DAY, but it was the day after a huge snowstorm and she still made it happen for me! PLEASE GO TO HER FOR YOUR FLORAL NEEDS!

Thank you for your question Jason. This is a great one. There are a few things to consider .The first question I ask is , will it remain on the table during dinner? If so, you certainly want to consider not including flowers with a fragrance that may conflict with the smells of the delicious meal that took the hostess hours to prepare. After all, giving thanks is about sharing the bounfltiful harvest, and respect should be payed to that. Next, I would ask what the colors of table linens and china are? Also how many people will be seated , and the size of the table? Clients often bring in napkins and (or) China dishes so that I can design the piece to compliment them . It helps to know the style of the decor as well. A traditional centerpiece may not be suitable for someone with a modern home. Finally , what is the budget for the floral piece? It can vary from $50 to $250 depending on size, and types of flowers used. Having a great relationship with your florist is key.
