Had spot #30 for a whole weekend. It was amazing!!!!!!!! Great location, easy access to bathroom and trail to the beach. So 5 starts all around. Campsite staff were great as well. Will be back!

Incredible spot with access to an amazing beach. Great hosts, some reservable spots as well as some first come, first served spots. Some with elec + water hookups too.

It was amazing. Just a few steps and you are at the beach. Clean bathrooms. We chose a camping spot with water and electric hook up. Definitely coming back.

Right by the beach. Just a few steps away. Nice spots, lots of space between the sites. Will definitely be back.

Yes, there were many dogs on the beach while we were there.
Yes, we just checked in with the Camp Hosts and they showed us open site's. Good luck.
No, at least not from this location, there is no vehicular beach access
No yurts
Park reopened Thursday morning I believe. We came on Thurs. Arrived about noon. Had our pick of maybe 10 spots. Storming pretty hard for 2 days. Fri. Nite almost full now. Paid for 3 nites. May stay longer as weather improves. Still no campfires but could change any day after 2 inches of rain last 2 days.
Yes. Check the Siuslaw national forest website for updates though.
Weekdays for sure. Check out is around 11 AM. Sites fill up quick. Was able to get a site in early July at around 1:30 PM. There were only about 3 open spots, and they filled up right behind me
There is tent sites but they are first come first served or you can call and reserve some sites as well.hope that helps
This year many new electric & water posts were added to exsitistin g sites ...
Only in designated fire pits and you cannot burn the driftwood as the signs and fire advise against it
Yes and some are not reserveable so try shouldering up about 9:30 and see if any of those open for the day/night! Campground host can tell you which ones they expect will be vacated based on who paid. I got a spectacular site right on the bluff this way!!
I do not know which exactly, but it was quite rare, if any.
Web site says they are open during shutdown.
Recreation.gov I can tell you about the sites, the area, etc. Otherwise you'll have to go online or drive there. They do have some walk in sites in summer. Never been off season. I live in California.
Recreation.gov
No more than 14 unless it is reserved

See if you can pay and camp on their beach. They have day parking right by the path down to the beach. I've seen people camp down there.
If you get there early and maybe on a Thursday, you'll have a pretty good chance. Sites fill up pretty quickly, especially if it is hot in the Valley.
No wait list, but you can reserve a site and then there is first come first served sites, we went a month ago and there was alot of sites open.
