So yes i gave 3 stars but hear me out. This place is great. Coffee awesome, food really good. The killer for me though is the wait and the flies. For how busy this place is you think they would have more than one person making drinks. I appreciate that the food is made fresh but half an hour for a breakfast sandwich makes you wonder if they are taking too much on for their kitchen size. And again out of all the times I've been there it seems like the amount of flies is overwhelming for a cafe. Amazing potential for this location, they should consider upsizing their equipment for what they are trying to offer. And one or two more of the blue light bug catchers near the doors. Please give this place a try but only if you're not in a hurry.

Had never been to The Washburne Cafe until they had A Charred Pizza for a one night pop up. Upon arrival the Cafe is immaculate, you can tell the owners and staff take pride in their business. Everyone was welcoming and just seemed really excited to be providing this pop up to the community as they asked for it. My MIL is part of the foodies group and the foodies have been talking about this pizza for quite some time. The owner/creator posts pictures of his pizza often and leaves people drooling from what I'm told. My husband and I met his mother and friend there and after looking at the menu we decided on the Detroit Style Chicken Bacon Ranch. AMAZING! Best pizza I've had in a long time. Cooked to golden crispy perfection, flavor in every bite, and quality is unmatched. So keep an eye for another pop up. Now I need to try The Washburn Cafe, from the reviews and pictures they seem to be about quality and the food and drinks look good. When I try The Washburne Cafe I will defintely be writing another review. Till then check em out, we have lots of local cafes that need our business during these times and they're finding ways to stick around for us. So get coffee with your girlfriends or lunch with your signifanct others and enjoy an atmosphere welcoming to all!

All atmosphere, and the coffee was good. I can see why people would like this place. That being said: Avoid the food if you can. The fried chicken had no flavor, but the crunch was nice. They should probably brine those thighs, or at least salt the meat. The breakfast sandwich was a bit of an insult: a wet scramble on a tired, tiny English muffin with a flavored mayo. It made Dari-mart look good. Over medium eggs were hard, there was lettuce in random places, under the eggs and toast..not really sure what they were going for there. Definitely not a spot to go if you are hungry or looking for breakfast. We spent $35 including the tip and left hungry and disappointed. Pretty sure won't be back.
