Crowne Plaza Concord/Walnut Creek, an IHG Hotel

Ahead of booking, I thoroughly read the photos and reviews and was confident in my choice, but when I arrived at my room I was mildly horrified. The wallpaper was peeling, the ceiling had water stains, the counters and other surfaces had clearly not been wiped down which in the middle of a Covid surge was concerning, the shower rod was broken and precariously hanging from the wall, and to close the bathroom door you had to straddle the toilet because otherwise there wasn’t enough clearance. Absolutely would not recommend.

My Stay was wonderful I loved all the staff the front desk had the most wonderful nationality of people. Tasha was friendly and officiant, Mary was full of life and laughter, Jim was the sunny side up of my day. They were knowledgeable concerning nearby places to eat be it I live in Monetary. The rooms were clean and neat. The bar was great! the bartender is always on point. Keep up the great work!!!

Bugs are in the indoor pool/hotub, our water faucet was broken, the fridge door wouldn't close, and customer service could not care less about any of it. The hotel is pretty, but they do not seem interested in offering solutions or sympathy for these 3 things that came up. In fact, I was met with a condescending response when I asked about the bugs by the front desk person justifying it by saying there is chlorine and "that's just how it is in the spring". For an indoor pool. You can probably spend less or the same amount for a higher quality stay elsewhere.

I couldn't more happy. A beautiful hotel, the indoor garden is amazing. The hot tub experience in so relaxing. The staff was so friendly and even let my son feed the fish their special food, my son was so happy. ( please don't feed the fish anything else) . Good prices on the food and drinks. 10/10
