My husband and I have been attending the Springfield campus on Plumtree Road for a few months now and enjoy it immensely. Pastor John Kerns is as real as it gets. His messages have practical life application, which enables you to be ready for the challenges ahead on the coming week. The worship team has a sweet and loving spirit. The greeters are very friendly, especially Vicky and Dan. It's a good place for children to hear God's Word and learn how to walk with Him. In these challenging times, you can find a place here that will fill you with hope and direction for the future.

HCSS boys and girls basketball player their home games here. While the facilities are pretty good, the church does not wants any of the players families at the games. I am sad that I have not seen one minute of my daughter's games this year. Instead, as a parent, I have to wait in the car during the game.

I visited this church a few weeks ago for the first time, and I have nothing but great things to say about this place. If you are looking for a place to go worship the lord they will receive you with open arms.

Anyone with any relevant information about the history of the church?

Hi, I'd like to help, but what do you mean by relevant? .... I have a hundred year old bible in my house but I don't know if that counts as relevant. History is history - whether someone else thinks it is relevant or not is different to if I do... For us the takeaway is that many churches break apart nowadays over seemingly nothing. We've stuck together for this whole time, doing good works for the purpose not to get the glory for ourselves. Its pretty cool. Its like a family - Gods family! When a treasure becomes a trend then its a trap. We're not here to be fake. We're genuine people, and thats awesome!

What happened to pastor gene or pastor hughes I remember them from the early 80s when our family was part of the church

They most likely moved on or passed on the 80s was awhile ago its 2018. My dad actually took the pastor position in the early 90s and just retired last year there's a new pastor there now.
