Amazing little stop we passed the first time we headed down Avenue of Giants. We went back because we realized we'd past the chimney tree. Decided to stop for a healthy snack. We ordered the ABLT salad. Delicious, good amount of chicken (addtl charge), bacon and avocado. We ended up going back in for a chocolate peanut butter milkshake (also delicious). Bathrooms are available as well as a swing set that was fantastic for getting some of our kids' energy out after 5 hours in the car.

My family loved the food and the vibe! We sat outside on picnic tables to listen to the live music - my little girls said it looked like Camp Rock and loved the playground too. Fun family dining!

Awesome joint on the south end of the Avenue of the Giants. The Chimney Tree itself is a really spectacular example of a burnt out goose pen in a big Redwood right off the road. Great stop for a refresh after checking out some trails. Good menu, yummy food

Food was delicious and service was great. I’ll definitely recommend this place. They have a lot of outdoor sitting.
