Had an excellent experience working with Mike from Horizon Inspections. I hired Mike for a home inspection that we were under-contact. This was a flip property and seller didn’t have and property disclosures or documents. Mike did a fantastic job of checking everything in detail and pointed out critical issues with the house that if left unfixed could be a problem for us as buyers in the long run. Mike advices us to get in old mold tested in the attic area. Even though it was an old mold, as per test reports it is a type of black mold in high spore count (means even if it’s inactive now, it may have spread to other areas of house). This test was extremely important for us as this type of mold occurs in cases of high water areas. Another thing was the Radon test. Unlike some who just do a 2-4 test, Mike advised us to go for at least 48 hrs test for an accurate reading. From the reading we were able to know the house has very high Radon level in basement. All thanks to Mike that we have now canceled our contract and are saved from buying a really bad property. Will definitely recommend Mike to others and would prefer to go with him again for a house inspection.
