I read the reviews before I applied but when you’re facing homeless with a child anything is better than being on the street. Please be advised there are multiple levels to this program. Get in great detail which program your in. Some are 1 year and some are more. I wasn’t informed that my program was 1 year until May 2022. My lease ends September 2022. My social worker called me in May informed me how the program failed me and quit the same day. I received an email from Patrice Williams the director informing me of the changes. I was informed “they would work with me to renew my lease”. I met all requirements but a financial literacy course. This course is only offered once a month but it’s a requirement. I missed the course in June and was told I couldn’t take the next course July 10th because it’s too close to September. I reached out to Pedro Perez he was very cold and heartless. Every waitlist for housing in Charlotte is 2 -3 years. In September I will be homeless and this organization that brags about how the combat homelessness in the Charlotte Area only care about their own financial gain. This organization should be re-evaluated immediately. Donors and partners should reach out too all clients to gain updated accurate information. Where is the funding going?

This program is amazing. Everything that you will learn during your time here will set you up to be your best self. The case managers are amazing and they really assist you with everything you need. This program has most definitely changed my life and got me back on track. There are endless resources and opportunities if you come in and do your part and want to level up. CFH literally will give you the blue print to success if your willing to follow it! I have only been in this program for a few months and I absolutely love the fact that I got connected to such wonderful people that truly care and want you to win !!!

This program is horrible! I would not recommend at all! You would be better off getting assistance anywhere else other than through this bootleg program. They won't help you or work with you at all. You will get kicked out before you even really get started due to all the unnecessary rules. They won't even attempt to work with you. Your social worker will not advocate for you or communicate with you either. They are just there for a paycheck. They are extremely rude & unprofessional unfortunately. There are definitely other programs in this area that will actually help you unlike this one. Please be advised.

Treated me very bad & very judgmental. Ppl are just there for a check & most of them set me up for failure!

You can't give up and you must keep trying harder until you get the Help you need. Call 211, Go to Social Service and request to have a Social Worker assigned to you specific needs. Thier are lots of resources here in Charlotte it all depends on you. May God bless you I am Proof the Program really works.
They will help you... Call and set up a appointment with Tammie
Yes they do. You are requred to be working and yes it is very safe. Call and talk with them.
That's ridiculous. And you wonder why there's so many abandoned animals. Pets are family too, if the family gets to a point where they have no where to go what makes you think someone would be able to take a pet. "OH sorry you can't stay with me but I'll take care of your pets awhile for you" I mean does that even sound like something someone would agree to. Absolutely not. If someone won't allow a human to stay what makes you think they'll be OK with pets. What a joke.
