As a now former professional in the field, this is by far the WORST place to work for if you’re interested in helping people in recovery or being admitted to if you're a patient struggling with your recovery. The CSS Building Director willingly puts patients into one CSS unit who test positive for Covid regardless if there are other patients on that same unit who test negative and despite any medical conditions they express concerns about. The CSS Director allows her staff (that means you Nancy and Caroline) to constantly rat on their co-workers and get each other in trouble rather than work together as a team and do the best you can to ensure the unit runs smoothly and that the people stipulated there for treatment are receiving the best adequate care they can. You bear witness to staff coming in under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol (in a substance abuse treatment facility no less) and management (CSS Director/CSS Unit 4 Director) are well aware of these re-occurrences, but take no steps to rectify them. You do have some of the finest Recovery Specialists, Substance Abuse Clinicians, House Keepers and Cooks dedicated to their jobs and who do make a difference daily to the people they serve. Then, you have Unit 4 Director Lauren who would better off returning to their former florist/bakery position since counseling is not their forte by any means, and the CSS Director who would better fit to run a pet shop where maintaining rodents is a priority rather than treating people who need help and need employees in facilities like this who are genuinely interested in helping people. Avoid, find a better place to work and find a better place to seek treatment. The Administration at this facility has no business working in a field helping people, much less running a building that does as much.

Hated it when I came in. Most staff seemed bored and unmotivated. You're free to leave anytime because the gate is left unlocked. The management play mind games with anyone who gives them pushback, which can be seen as abusive because of the mental state people in acute recovery are in. The worst part was dealing with not getting medications, which makes folks go crazy. If you get through detox week, it gets better. I came in kicking and screaming BUT the longer I was there, the more I felt heard and seen by other men who struggled like me with addiction. There is more to this place than surface level impressions and If you want to turn around your life this is a legitimate opportunity that offers solid advice relevant to the specific needs of the group. You need to see it as an opportunity to stay out of jail, eat well, sleep well, and make the best out of it. If you want to change your life, this place will help. If you're not ready, it might make some worse. Still, better than jail and MA and FL are the only states to section 35. I've been sober since I left over 2 yrs ago. Big thanks to reverend redemption and the weird humor of the staff. Make the best of it!

Horrible. If you want to work in the field here, don’t. There’s a severe lack of leadership. The company is in the toilet. They don’t care about the patients or the employees. Everything they do is shady and you never get a direct answer. The only good thing about this place were 4 other clinicians who I worked with and 1 of the unit directors who actually did her job and knew what she’s doing. This places beats down and destroys good people who want to actually help people and force you to hate and resent you job and the patients you’re supposed to care for. Avoid at all costs!! Avoid if you have integrity and want to actually help people in recovery!

Nope, the M stands for Men's. There are female staff however.
You can walk out and they won't chase you down. Howver, if the judge sent you there and you have outstanding charges, you could face harsher sentencing as a result of walking out.
Yes if you schedule it ahead of time. The guy in the facility has to do his part to make it happen. People can't just show up to visit.
