The animals are so sweet, the goats follow you just wanting to be loved on.

Such caring and kind animal lovers. They have great events for all of the family. They offer helpful advice on chicken care.

Come visit Todd the greedy goat and Blackberry the Turkey at the Piedmont Animal Refuge! They'll even give you treats to help facilitate the friendship (The goats especially love snacks). You'll learn about the animals past and how they live at the refuge. Surrounded by the pastoral landscape fit for a barn wedding you can also enjoy a treat from one of the food trucks. It's a worthwhile Saturday morning activity. They also have volunteer activities available and do private tours if you really fall in love.

Hi Marlin, Piedmont Farm Animal Refuge is only open to the public through scheduled volunteering or through scheduled events. You must sign up for either of these in advance. You can learn about volunteer here (https://www.piedmontrefuge.org/volunteer) and events here (https://www.piedmontrefuge.org/events-calendar). Thanks!
Thank you for your interest in employment at Piedmont Farm Animal Refuge. Any employment opportunities, both now and in the future, can be found on our website at http://piedmontrefuge.org/employment/
Hi Pam, We don't adopt out any of our animals at this time. You could try Red Dog Farm Animal Rescue Network based in Greensboro, NC.
I believe cows will be coming in the very near future, along with pigs. Currently they have other animals rescued from factory farm situations. These include: Goats, sheep, chickens, turkeys, and ducks. It's a very lovely sanctuary and organization. Definitely worth a visit.
HI Arunima, At the moment we have regularly scheduled tours on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. We sometimes have volunteering opportunities on Sundays that include a tour. You can see the tour schedule and learn more about volunteering on our website: www.piedmontrefuge.org Thank you for your interest and we hope you can visit us some time soon!
Kari, if you'll let me know what city you are in I'll send you some places you can rescue an adorable puppy that needs a great home.
