Had plumbing issue (leak below sink), called gold medal - they told me they had a 90$ fee for coming out that could not be applied to the bill if they had work. The plumber came out, was going on and on about this membership then told me I had to sign to have him do the work. I was under the impression that if I declined the membership that the work would be the price minus the membership if I declined. The plumber did work for 15 mins- I asked what he did, he said he replaced 2 washers in the pipes which are about 15 cents each. Then I told him I was thinking about the membership and I didn't want to purchase it. Then he got all up in arms saying that's the cheapest price that he can give me and that the service he provided was a 700$ service. I told him the level of effort and the price does not make sense, and I said why didn't you tell me it was a 700$ service and the cheapest would be 300$. He then argued with me for about 15 mins on and on. Saying that this was a premium company and that I had to pay for overhead such as their website, call center employees, warehouse and stock employees and the guy that came with him who was clearly being trained-up to work there. Then he tried to do me a "favor" by choosing a different service that was cheaper like installing a shower head for 230$ which is something anyone with 3 brain cells could essentially do. Then says did the booking people tell you about a 25$ fuel surcharge- I told him no they did not and that they mentioned the 90$ and I understood it was not to be applied to the cost of work but that the fuel surcharge was never mentioned. He took it off as a "favor"...Then he went on and on about the value of the free "check-ups" provided with the membership and that it had great value. Anyone knows it's just a ploy to have them come to your house and "find" something wrong and generate business for themselves. I'm completely furious about this and wish I had never called them in the first place.

Gold Medal Sales man , Mike B?(Apparently his last name is TABU, as per customers service)sold meCentral Air Condition unite to my home. Since I had before LENOX and we were happy with it for 35 years, I purchased from Mile (Salesman) a new AC unit LENOX ( same company). Regretfully the contractor used part of my old AC that is causing me a lot of problems, first no AC is cooling my large Living Room, second there is a lot of chocking dust brown from the ducts to my residence. I presume it is from the old part of my AC that contractor used for installation of the 'new" unit. Twice technician came to see the problems, and none was helpful to resolve the problem. I call customers service and talk to Matthew, and to Miss Farah looking for salmon who sold me this Lenox totally new entire unit. Neither of the two could provide me with Mike (salesman) contact number. I consider this problem u unresolved, and since I can't talk with director of sales department, I must contact my lawyer for intervention. My entire desk , furniture table, books are covert with heavy dust- which I never had before. This week a technician came to investigate problems, but he could not make any decision; He recommended me to contact either salesman (Mike) or director of Sales department.Neither one could have time to contact me. Conclusion: be careful with Gold Medal "Service", you may fall into the trap. Warwas

Using a smartphone to control a thermostat is only an option on a few models, it’s best to make sure the device is capable by consulting the user’s manual or researching online.
Replacing a humidifier pad can be a bit more complicated, if you’re not comfortable doing it we suggest having it changed and inspected at your yearly heater service or you can call and have a tech walk you through the procedure. Pads can also be purchased at your local home improvement store or ordered online.
The filter size and air flow arrow are printed on the outside edge of the air filter. Replacement is as simple as removing the old, dirty filter from the filter cabinet or return ductwork and replacing it with the new filter. The air flow arrow should be pointing at the furnace or air handler. Filters can be purchased at a local home improvement store such as Home Depot or ordered online.
