Ruuuunnnnnnn, don't walk... run. The emotional trauma that I endorsed here, is equivalent to my divorce. Diane Porter AKA mama D (office manager) and Pat (administrator) are some of the rudest "professionals" I've ever encountered. They speak to the students as if we are children. They are unorganized, ill-prepared, and faulty in their advertisement of the expectations and the instructors talk behind each other's back instead of being on one accord. At one point Pat told myself and two other students, they lost our drug tests, we never did our drug tests, and our drug test expired. Now I know I might not be the smartest cookie in the jar. However, I know for sure all three of those scenarios couldn'thave happened. So I called Diane's boss Landon Elks who actually took the time to listen to me. Thank you Landon. He finally explained that when the three of us took our drug test, we were tested too early and our test had expired. The state of NC requires the student to have a valid drug test completed within 30 days of driving. So 2 days before its time for us to graduate, we had to take another drug test, wait 2 days for the results to come back. So that we could do our night driving which pushed our graduation date back to the following week. During all of that, do you think we received an apology, empathy, or sympathy for a situation we didn't cause. Heck no, we got a finger pointed at us blaming us for driving illegally. Like we knew that they messed up. Absolutely no accountability. The one amazing thing that came out of TransTech is instructor Sim Bates, one of the most patient, kind, diligent, informative, and motivated instructors that I know! He not only taught me to drive a 18 wheeler in 3 weeks. He also elevated my skills and taught me how to drive a manual truck in 3 weeks. I've never sat behind a manual vehicle in life. So my license has 0 restrictions. #CLUTCHGANG Sim you the G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time) TransTech doesn't deserve you Sim.
