Parents bought a 2022 Forest River. During walk through we noticed a few little things that the tech made notes about which he said he would get back with us. We got it home and noticed a part missing and bathroom door frame was bent/warped and other door mechanism broke locking my wife and 2 year old inside. Campers inn told us to bring it in. It sat for a month supposedly waiting on Forest River to approve the warranty work. We had a trip planned. They told us to come and get it and return it when we were done. And while we were on our trip we took a shower and noticed that our hallway was full of water from the shower leaking.we took it back up there and it sat supposedly waiting for #Warranty approval. We needed it agin and went and got it. Took it back with another scheduled appointment. I was then kicked out due to me supposedly telling the UPS man to shut up. According to Campers Inn the UPS man called back up there and complained. I followed up with UPS and they deny the issue. I’ve also contacted Forest River myself to get this resolved and they told me a warranty request was never issued for our camper. We’ve used the camper a total of 10 days since March due to negligence on Campers Inn. I wouldn’t go to Campers Inn if I were you.

Our 2022 Forest River Flagstaff MicroLite 21DS slide out went crooked. Forest River provided a list of service centers in the area where we as full-time RV’ers were currently parked. We were within 2 miles from campers inn Raleigh and visited their facility. We were able to deliver the RV on Monday with the knowledge that they would need at least 3 days to evaluate and let us know the diagnosis. Within those 3 days not only did they diagnose the problem, they ordered, received and fixed the issue and our RV (“home”) was ready for us to pick up on Thursday. Great job campers inn Raleigh!

Nothing but the best service anyone could ever imagine! We found the somewhat “rare” travel trailer we had been searching for at CampersInn of Raleigh. Within a couple of minutes of my online request for more information, I was contacted by David Knight. We set up an appointment to see the TT, along with a couple of others that we thought might meet our needs. David greeted us (& our two Scottie’s) before we even got inside the dealership. He explained that a couple of the units on our list had just arrived the previous day - and he was arranging to get them set up/powered up for us to see. The TT we were most interested (our “unicorn”) was the last one pulled up from the receiving area. We immediately knew that this was the one for us! We negotiated a trade in - sight unseen - for our Grand Design Imagine. And we drove the 2.5 hours back to our home. Two days later we drove back to Campers Inn to finalize the deal and take possession. A first class experience all around! David is a terrific ambassador for this dealership - we were pretty impressed with all of the staff we met and worked with! David knew we wanted to camp out the first night, someplace nearby. He called and got us a reservation at a nice RV park about two miles away. He took the time to lead us there in his own vehicle, stopping at a convenience store so we could pick up some ice, etc. After we got set up at our campsite, we discovered some minor issues with the TT. We called David to ask how to proceed and he took the time to come to us with the hardware we needed to resolve the issue. Far beyond what we expected! So, if you are in the market for a new or used RV in the Raleigh area, we cannot recommend David Knight highly enough! His support from finance, the detail dept., and within the sales department was all outstanding! It’s unfortunately rare these days to have an opportunity to commend someone for remarkable customer service and we are so happy to have met, worked with and gotten to know David Knight!
