My mom has been a resident for a number of years at Windsor Chico Care Center. The facility is smaller which works well for my mom. The facility is clean and does not have an unpleasant odor that is common in some nursing homes. The staff is very helpful and caring. My mom feels very loved and safe! When I visit, the staff is always kind and respectful. I truly believe that my mom's life has been extended due to the wonderful care she has received at Windsor Chico Care Center! It takes very special people to provide care for older people residing in nursing homes. I am so thankful and appreciative to all the great staff working at Chico Care Center!!

Don’t send your love ones to this place it’s awful place no attention is given to patients my grandmother was here for couple day would constantly ask for help to go bathroom and was ignored and was not given food She also felt and was all bruised up.Worst experience horrible place people have worst attitude

The staff was friendly but very busy, sometimes too busy to do their jobs to the full extent. I believe they need to offer more one on one attention to their patients. I believe the patients should not be left unattended for extended period of time, the staff needs to check on their patients more often. For a patient that couldn't feed themself the staff should of helped, the days family couldn't come for a visit are the days the patient went without eating or drinking. To me is seems like the staff truly only cares about their paychecks not actually helping the patients.

I don't know if they do. I only visited a friend there, sorry.

Does this CNA offer classes to people who want to be in the CNA program I’m interested but I know some places need a license to work for CNA and that’s what I want to do

Fill out the application and you will be interviewed. We only can take in about 15 for the class but at least 60 will apply. The sooner the better.

Can I get a CNA certificate through Chico Windsor?

Yes. Every 3 months they hold a teaching class for 8 or more weeks. You put in an application and interview and if picked you go through the program and take you State test to become certified. You have a high oppertunity to be placed a job when you become certified and you are paid as you do the class.
